What is Stewardship?
- Stewardship is a complete lifestyle, a life of total accountability and
responsibility acknowledging God as Creator and Owner of all.
- Stewardship is responsible management of our God-given resources of
time, talent, and treasure. It enhances our relationships with God and
one another.
- Stewardship is living out a commitment to be Christ-centered rather than self-centered and involves a conversion of the heart.
- Stewardship is a lifelong journey with each person at a different place on the path.
- Stewardship is not just a program, a fundraising scheme, or about money
and donations.
2011 Gesu Stewardship Appeal
We rejoice in the birth of our Savior and now celebrate the beginning of the New Year!
Gesu Parish holds her arms open to new members and welcomes back those who have renewed their commitment to her. We continue to say
thank you for re-engaging with Gesu through your pledge of prayer and fiscal support through the Stewardship Appeal. Your commitment is a conscious act of faith and a response to God's presence in your life.
The 2011 Stewardship Appeal is just one way we contribute to the vitality of our parish. Certainly, Gesu relies on all of us for financial support, for without it we would sit in a cold, dark church and our ministries would greatly suffer. Money is essential, but it is your presence and participation at Mass, your involvement in committee work, your support of Gesu's mission, and your friendship that keep Gesu vibrant.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Gesu.
