Adult religious formation is the lifelong process by which a person develops a mature faith relationship with God. Learning in faith is not simply a matter between God and the individual. Rather, it includes all occasions and opportunities that assist an adult in deepening their faith. At Gesu Parish, members and guests are encouraged to grow in relationship with God and one another through liturgical celebrations, sacramental life, the study of Scripture, Tradition, and Ignatian spirituality as well as participation on retreat opportunities that are offered during the Advent and Lenten seasons.

- A Spiritual Reflection on Our Favorite Christmas Movies: Advent Retreat Day for Young Adults.
Join us Satruday, December 3, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Archbishop Cousins Center (3501 S. Lake Dr., Saint Francis, WI 53235).
Do you remember watching It’s a Wonderful Life or the ever-popular Christmas Story as a kid each year (and perhaps now as young adult, too)? In the midst of this hectic and busy holiday season, take a much-needed break with those very same films.
Using the lens of our favorite Christmas movies, join retreat leaders Paul & Sarah Jarzembowski as they take young adults (collegiate, 20s & 30s) on a nostalgic journey into the Advent season with prayer, conversation, and reflection.
The day will also include lunch and opportunities for quiet prayer.
