Fr. Larry Jonas, S.J.
Fr. Larry was born in Stevens Point, WI on March 5, 1921 to Mr & Mrs Jonas and was the ninth of twelve children. He attended St. Stephen's High School in Stevens Point where he was Class President and the "star" basketball player, graduating in 1939.
Fr. Larry enlisted in the Army during WWII and served from 1942 to 1945. After the Army, he attended Marquette University under the GI Bill graduating with a major in Accounting in 1949. He entered the Society of Jesus in 1949 at Florissant, MO. and was ordained at Gesu on June 16, 1959.
